We are seeking a Superintendent Level 1 to support the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of operational and project activities. Working under the direction of senior leadership, you will coordinate day-to-day work, monitor progress, and help ensure that teams, contractors, equipment, and materials are properly organised. This role is suited to an individual who can communicate clearly, make sound decisions, and maintain high standards in a fast-paced working environment.

Key responsibilities include supervising and coordinating field activities in accordance with approved plans, schedules, procedures, and quality requirements; assigning tasks and monitoring team performance; conducting regular site inspections; identifying and resolving routine operational issues; and reporting progress, risks, delays, and resource requirements to management. You will promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, policies, permits, and safe work practices. The role also involves participating in toolbox talks, safety meetings, incident reviews, and emergency response activities where required.

You will maintain accurate records, including daily reports, workforce information, equipment usage, material deliveries, and productivity updates. Collaboration with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders will be essential to maintaining effective communication and smooth workflow. Applicants should have relevant supervisory or operational experience, a sound understanding of workplace health and safety, and the ability to interpret work instructions, schedules, drawings, or technical documentation. Strong organisational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are required, along with the ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team. A relevant trade, technical, or industry qualification is desirable, and a valid licence or other role-specific certification may be required. The successful candidate must be willing to work flexible hours and in varied site or operational conditions when necessary.
