We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Station Design Coordinator to support the planning, development and delivery of station design projects. This role will coordinate design activities across multiple disciplines, helping to ensure that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on time and in line with required standards. You will work closely with design teams, project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders to manage information and maintain smooth communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating design submissions, drawings, technical reports and documentation; maintaining design registers, action trackers and project records; arranging and attending design reviews, progress meetings and workshops; monitoring deliverables, interfaces, risks and outstanding actions; and supporting the timely resolution of technical queries and design changes. You will help ensure that designs reflect operational, accessibility, safety, sustainability and customer requirements, while identifying potential coordination issues and escalating them appropriately. The role may also involve reviewing information for completeness, supporting approvals and assurance processes, and contributing to continuous improvement in design coordination procedures and reporting.

Applicants should have experience in design coordination, project support or a related role within rail, transport, infrastructure, construction or a similarly complex environment. A good understanding of multidisciplinary design processes, document control and design management principles is essential. You will need strong organisational and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced project setting. Confidence using document management systems, spreadsheets and standard office software is required, while experience with design collaboration platforms or technical drawing systems would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be collaborative, dependable and comfortable working with stakeholders at all levels. A relevant technical, engineering, construction or project management qualification, or equivalent practical experience, is desirable.
