Applicants should have substantial experience managing major water, wastewater, utilities or infrastructure projects, ideally from feasibility and design through to construction and operational handover. A recognised project management qualification, such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent, would be advantageous, alongside a relevant degree or professional qualification in civil engineering, construction, water management or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of contract management, risk control, cost forecasting and regulatory compliance is essential. You should be an effective leader and communicator, confident engaging with technical specialists, contractors, regulators and community stakeholders.
