Site Quality Technician
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as on-site representative of the Quality Manager and a member of the site leadership team.
* Oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities on the construction site.
* Supervise, mentor, and manage performance of quality inspectors and personnel.
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, company procedures, and the Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from identification to resolution, escalating critical issues as needed.
* Conduct first article audits for new construction processes.
* Monitor workforce requirements, attendance, and staffing plans.
* Prepare and present regular quality reports to site management, the Quality Manager, and clients.
* Maintain and manage quality tools, equipment, and inspection resources.
* Lead by example in enforcing safety and quality standards across the site.
Key Skills & Qualifications
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Expertise in quality assurance and quality control processes in construction or renewable energy projects.
* Knowledge of IMS, ISO 9001 standards, and auditing procedures.
* Experience managing NCRs and corrective/preventive actions.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and inspection plans.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Experience coordinating with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
* Familiarity with first article inspections and process verification.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
