About the Opportunity Are you a technical specialist who knows the ins and outs of large hydro machinery? We are looking for a (Senior) Technical Supervisor specializing in either Turbines or Generators to oversee the refurbishment and installation phases of a major hydropower rehabilitation project. You will act as the technical backbone on the shop floor/site, ensuring that critical rotating equipment or electrical machinery is rehabilitated and commissioned flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise the disassembly, inspection, refurbishment, and reassembly of large hydro turbines or generators.

Provide technical guidance and quality assurance during critical installation and commissioning phases.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues on-site.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure work aligns with precise technical specifications.

What You Bring (Must-Haves)

Hydro Equipment Expertise: Greater than 5 years of hands-on experience specifically focused on the maintenance, installation, or rehabilitation of hydro turbines or generators.

Language Skills: Strong French language skills are essential for day-to-day coordination with the local technical workforce.

Precision Focus: A keen eye for mechanical/electrical tolerances and a deep understanding of hydro plant operations.
