The successful candidate will develop and maintain detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, risk registers, and resource forecasts. Responsibilities include coordinating multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, vendors, and government stakeholders; monitoring progress and performance; managing change orders and project documentation; and providing clear, timely status reports to senior leadership and customers. You will identify issues early, implement corrective actions, and ensure all work complies with applicable federal standards, site procedures, safety expectations, and contractual obligations. The role may also involve supporting proposal development, client meetings, audits, inspections, and project closeout activities.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management, business, or a related discipline, along with substantial experience managing complex projects in a federal, government contracting, construction, engineering, or technical services environment. Demonstrated success managing budgets, schedules, teams, and customer relationships is essential. A recognized project management certification, such as PMP, is preferred. Strong communication, negotiation, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills are required, as is proficiency with project management and reporting tools. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in changing environments, traveling continuously, and adapting to demanding site conditions. The ability to obtain and maintain any required background investigation, security credential, or site access authorization is also required.

Experience with federal contracting procedures, contract administration, and project controls is highly desirable. Professional certification such as PMP, CCM, or a related credential is preferred. Strong leadership, negotiation, written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are required, as is proficiency with scheduling, cost-control, collaboration, and document-management software. Candidates must be willing and able to travel continuously, work flexible hours when necessary, and operate effectively in demanding, changing project environments.
