The Procurement & Contracts Manager will work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders to secure strong commercial outcomes, ensure robust compliance and manage risk across solar, wind and BESS projects while supporting the successful project delivery.
What you'll be doing:
* Lead competitive end to end sourcing activities (RFP/RFQ) and evaluate supplier proposals
* Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, risk allocation and performance frameworks
* Collaborate with Engineering, project and technical teams to define requirements and select the right partners
* Monitor and manager supplier performance in partnership with project delivery teams.
* Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts, primarily supply agreements, EPC, and ICP contracts
* Ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements
* Coordinate with Legal, Finance, Procurement, and Business teams throughout contract negotiations
* Track contract milestones, renewals, amendments, and expirations
* Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial risks
* Maintain accurate and well-organized contract records and documentation
* Support dispute resolution, claims management and change order processes when required
* Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders on contract terms, obligations and procedures
* Monitor contract performance and ensure all parties meet contractual obligations
What you'll need:
* Degree in Engineering, Law, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, contract management or combined commercial roles, preferably within renewable energy, infrastructure, or construction projects
* Strong understanding of contract law, commercial terms and risk allocation in the renewable energy sector
* Knowledge of FIDIC contract forms is a strong advantage
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
* Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously
* Knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, BESS) is an advantage
Preferred Skills
* Direct experience delivering or supporting utility-scale renewable energy projects
* Familiarity with FIDIC or similar international contract frameworks
* Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks in regulated and fast paced project environments
* Experience improving procurement and contract management processes, systems or governance.
