We are seeking a Senior Associate Electrical Engineer / Master in Energy and Building Services Engineering to support the planning, implementation and optimisation of electrical systems for modern buildings and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will contribute your technical expertise across all project phases, from initial concept and design through to construction, commissioning and handover. You will work closely with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to develop practical, energy-efficient and compliant solutions.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing electrical designs, specifications, calculations, schematics and technical documentation for low-voltage, medium-voltage, lighting, power distribution, emergency power, communication and building automation systems. You will coordinate interfaces between electrical services and other disciplines, assess technical risks, monitor quality and ensure that projects meet applicable standards, regulations and safety requirements. You will also support cost estimates, tender documentation, contractor selection, site inspections and the resolution of technical issues during construction. As a senior team member, you will provide guidance to colleagues, review deliverables and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and engineering standards.
You hold a relevant degree, master craftsman qualification or equivalent professional certification in electrical engineering, energy technology, building services engineering or a related discipline. Several years of experience in electrical design, building technology or project delivery are expected, together with a sound understanding of relevant technical standards and energy-efficiency principles. Experience with CAD, BIM or electrical calculation software is desirable. You are organised, analytical and confident in communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, collaborative approach, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality work are essential. Professional fluency in English is required; knowledge of German and any additional language is advantageous.
