We are seeking a Senior Tender and Cost Estimation Manager to lead the preparation of tenders and cost calculations for civil engineering projects. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for coordinating the full tender process, from initial analysis of procurement documents through to submission and handover. You will work closely with project managers, estimators, engineers, suppliers and subcontractors to develop competitive, accurate and commercially sound proposals.

Your responsibilities will include interpreting technical specifications, contracts and tender requirements; developing cost estimates, budgets and pricing models; identifying risks, opportunities and commercial assumptions; and ensuring that all submissions are complete, compliant and delivered on time. You will prepare and review calculations, contribute to method statements and schedules, and support negotiations with clients and partners. The role also involves establishing effective tender strategies, challenging assumptions, maintaining cost databases and sharing lessons learned to improve future bids and project performance.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a background in civil engineering, construction or infrastructure, combined with substantial experience in tender management, estimating or commercial project work. You have strong knowledge of construction methods, contract conditions, procurement processes and cost structures. Excellent analytical and numerical skills are essential, as is the ability to manage several deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. You communicate confidently in English, both verbally and in writing, and are comfortable collaborating across technical and commercial disciplines. A structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach will be highly valued. Experience with major infrastructure projects, cost-estimating software and relevant contract standards is advantageous.
