The RoleAs a Resident Engineer, you will oversee a range of construction projects of varying complexity, applying established engineering and construction management principles to ensure successful delivery. This role requires strong technical judgment, the ability to interpret and adapt designs, and confidence in making decisions on-site.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse engineering concepts and ensure alignment with project requirementsOversee construction management teams to ensure quality, compliance, and adherence to contract specificationsManage multidisciplinary teams including contractors, designers, and engineersMonitor technical components to ensure they meet engineering and contractual standardsPrepare and review cash flow forecasts, budgets, and project schedulesTrack contractor progress and ensure timely project deliveryTeam & ProjectsYou will be part of a construction management function focused on delivering municipal water infrastructure projects, working across a portfolio of critical and complex builds.
About YouMinimum Requirements
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York10+ years of experience in engineering and or construction managementKey Competencies
Strong decision-making impacting cost and performanceContract management expertiseExperience managing multidisciplinary teamsConstruction schedule review and oversightQA QC and quality assurance experienceAdditional Qualifications (preferred)
Certifications such as CCM, USACE CQM, CCCA, or NICETWhat's on OfferOngoing investment in professional developmentExposure to complex, high-impact infrastructure projectsA collaborative and supportive working environmentLong-term career progression within a stable and growing organisationWorking EnvironmentThis role sits within a forward-thinking engineering environment focused on delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions. CompensationSalary range for this position is between $115,000 - $200,000, depending on experience, location, and technical expertise, with additional benefits and potential incentives.
