We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of substation projects from initial concept through commissioning and handover. In this role, you will take overall responsibility for project execution, ensuring that scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements are met. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as the central point of contact for customers, suppliers, contractors, grid operators, authorities, and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include preparing project plans, defining milestones, monitoring progress, managing risks, and implementing appropriate corrective actions. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning activities while ensuring compliance with applicable technical standards, contractual obligations, and legal requirements. You will review technical documentation, contribute to tender and contract negotiations, oversee change and claims management, and prepare regular commercial and technical reports. Effective communication and structured collaboration will be essential, particularly when resolving complex issues or balancing competing project priorities.

You have a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, energy systems, power engineering, or a related discipline, together with proven experience managing infrastructure, energy, or substation projects. Knowledge of medium- and high-voltage systems, substation technology, protection and control systems, and relevant health and safety requirements is highly desirable. You are confident using standard project management tools and can work effectively with budgets, schedules, and performance indicators. A methodical, solution-oriented approach, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to lead teams in an international environment are important. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or another European language would be an advantage. Regular travel to project sites and partner locations should be expected.
