Project Manager for Solar Projects - Germany

To strengthen their team in Germany, my client is seeking a Solar Project Manager.

Client Profile: Developing and implementing renewable energy projects. Main activity site acquisition, planning, engineering, financing and the construction of wind and solar energy plants for a sustainable energy supply, and they provide operational management and maintenance.


Your tasks
* You coordinate the execution of photovoltaic (PV) projects worldwide
* You act as the single point of contact within the Solar division and as an
* interface with other departments (finance, grid connection, operation &
* maintenance) in relation to project development and execution in specific
* countries
* You are responsible for budgetary and detailed project cost calculations and
* execution time schedules
* You draft scope of works for subcontractors and run respective tender
* processes for their selection and appointment
* You negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors, including
* milestone achievement certificates and variation orders
* You provide support and guidance to the Construction Managers in the
* execution of the projects
* You enforce the implementation of H&S measures according to applicable
* law, international standards, and company policy
* You visit sites under construction, and control quality and contractual
* compliance of the work performed on site
* You act as an emergency response to sites requiring support or leadership
* at any stage of construction
* You are constantly looking to innovate and improve processes
* You comment on the project design and provide feedback in relation to
* actual conditions on site and lessons learned

Your profile

* You have a degree in engineering, ideally in electrical engineering
* A post-graduate degree in project/construction management or similar will
* be considered an asset
* You have several years of construction experience in the solar sector,
* preferably of utility-scale, free-field plants
* You are familiar with EPC, solar PV performance and construction
* optimization
* You have leadership experience, negotiation skills and a confident
* demeanour in an international context
* You are business fluent in English, additional languages would be
* considered an asset
* You have a flexible mindset and are willing to travel to various site locations
* worldwide

Salary Package: Upto 80000 euros per month
