We are seeking a Project Engineer – Residential Land Development to support the successful delivery of residential subdivision and land development projects from initial feasibility through to construction completion. This role will suit a motivated civil engineering professional who enjoys working across design coordination, approvals, construction support and stakeholder management. You will contribute to projects that create well-planned communities, working closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, authorities and other project partners.

Your responsibilities will include coordinating civil engineering design, reviewing technical documentation, preparing scopes of work and assisting with project budgets, programmes and reporting. You will help manage development approvals, authority submissions, engineering investigations and consultant deliverables, ensuring that designs meet relevant legislation, standards and project requirements. During construction, you will support tendering and procurement activities, respond to technical queries, review variations, monitor progress and assist with quality, safety and environmental compliance. You will also attend site meetings and inspections, identify risks and issues, and help drive practical solutions through to resolution.

To be successful, you will have a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering and experience in residential land development, subdivision or a related infrastructure environment. Experience coordinating consultants and contractors, interpreting civil drawings and specifications, and working with local authorities and service providers will be highly valued. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate project records. Familiarity with relevant Australian standards, planning and development processes, civil design software and project management systems would be advantageous. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes will help you succeed in this role.
