For one of our clients, we are seeking a Project Development Manager - Hybridisation (BESS) to lead the development of battery storage projects across their renewable energy portfolio. The role will focus on advancing BESS hybridisation opportunities from early-stage assessment through to Ready-to-Build (RTB), coordinating all key development workstreams including permitting, land, grid, technical, environmental, and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple BESS hybridisation projects throughout the development lifecycle.
* Lead permitting activities and coordinate with relevant authorities and external stakeholders.
* Oversee land, grid, technical, environmental, and legal workstreams to ensure timely project progression.
* Coordinate internal teams and external advisors, maintaining alignment across all development activities.
* Assess technical and commercial feasibility of BESS opportunities.
* Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring delivery against key milestones.
* Support investment decisions and participate in the evaluation of new development and acquisition opportunities.
* Monitor regulatory and market developments within the energy storage sector.

Candidate Profile
* +3 years of experience in renewable energy project development, ideally within BESS. Experience in solar PV and onshore wind development is also highly valued, particularly in the context of hybridisation projects.
* Proven experience managing projects from early-stage development through to Ready-to-Build (RTB).
* Strong understanding of permitting, grid connection, land management, and project development processes.
* Excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
* Hands-on, proactive, and delivery-focused mindset with the ability to drive projects forward independently.
* Good understanding of the renewable energy and energy storage market.
