Overview

Our client who is a specialist electrical engineering consultancy, focused on data centres and high-voltage infrastructure projects, is looking for an experienced Project Coordinator/Manager.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects within the company's portfolio. This role ensures alignment with company standards, strategic objectives, and available resources while optimizing efficiency and maintaining high-quality outcomes..

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the development of the projects portfolio, ensuring alignment with company standards.Evaluate projects based on strategic objectives and resource availability.Monitor project execution and provide support to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards.Develop project management methodologies and processes.Develop and enforce PMO policies, standards, and frameworks.Manage resource allocation across projects to optimize efficiency.Ensure optimal utilization of personnel, budget, and technology for project success.Develop and disseminate regular project status reports.Prepare regular reports on the performance of projects and the overall project portfolio.

Required Qualifications and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plusMinimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the substation, power, or construction industry.Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneouslyMinimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the substation, power, or construction industry.Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneouslyMinimum 5-7 years of experience in project management, preferably in the substation, power, or construction industry.Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneouslyExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and ensure team alignment
