We are seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer – Mechanical (m/f/d) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across mechanical engineering, fabrication, installation, and commissioning works. In this role, you will ensure that all activities comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, contractual requirements, applicable codes, and relevant industry standards. You will work closely with engineering, construction, procurement, subcontractors, inspectors, and commissioning teams to promote a consistent and quality-focused approach throughout the project lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing project-specific quality plans, inspection and test plans, method statements, checklists, and procedures for mechanical systems and equipment. You will review technical documentation, material certificates, welding and fabrication records, inspection reports, and supplier documentation. You will coordinate inspections, witness testing, monitor installation and fabrication activities, and verify that non-conformities are identified, documented, investigated, and closed effectively. You will also support audits, maintain quality records, prepare progress reports, and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a degree or professional qualification in mechanical engineering, quality management, or a related discipline, together with substantial experience in mechanical QA/QC within industrial, energy, construction, or infrastructure projects.
