We are seeking a BIM Coordinator (m/f/d) to support the efficient planning, coordination and delivery of complex construction and engineering projects. In this role, you will work closely with architects, engineers, project managers and external partners to ensure that Building Information Models are accurate, coordinated and aligned with project requirements. You will help establish effective digital workflows and contribute to the continuous improvement of BIM standards and processes.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models, identifying and resolving clashes, and carrying out regular quality checks using suitable coordination and model-checking software. You will prepare, maintain and manage federated models, support the development of project-specific BIM execution plans, and ensure compliance with agreed modelling standards, naming conventions and data structures. You will also organise coordination meetings, document decisions and follow up on outstanding actions. In addition, you will provide technical guidance to project teams, assist with model exchanges and contribute to the preparation of drawings, schedules and other project documentation derived from BIM data.
You have completed a degree, vocational qualification or comparable training in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, building services or a related field. Practical experience in BIM coordination, model management or a similar position is desirable. You are confident using BIM authoring and coordination tools, such as Revit, Navisworks, Solibri or comparable applications, and have a solid understanding of common BIM processes, construction methods and relevant data standards. Experience with CDE platforms and familiarity with ISO 19650 principles would be an advantage. Strong organisational and communication skills, a structured and solution-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently in multidisciplinary teams are essential. Good English skills are required; knowledge of German or another European language is advantageous.
