We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of projects from initial concept through to completion. Working across a varied portfolio, you will coordinate design development, technical delivery, procurement, and construction activities while ensuring projects meet agreed budgets, programmes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. You will act as a key point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams, building effective relationships and maintaining clear communication throughout each project stage.
Your responsibilities will include defining project scopes, preparing and monitoring programmes, managing risks, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, and reviewing drawings, specifications, and technical information. You will oversee planning and building regulation submissions, support tender and contract administration processes, and monitor progress on site through regular meetings, inspections, and reporting. The role will also involve identifying issues early, implementing appropriate solutions, managing variations and change control, and ensuring that health, safety, accessibility, sustainability, and quality objectives are incorporated into project delivery.
Applicants should hold a degree or professional qualification in architecture, construction, project management, or a related discipline, together with substantial experience managing architectural or construction projects. Strong knowledge of design coordination, statutory approvals, procurement routes, and construction processes is essential. You will be organised, commercially aware, and confident managing competing priorities, budgets, and deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to lead collaborative teams and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in relevant project management, design, and document control software is desirable. This is an opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects while developing strong professional relationships and delivering considered, practical outcomes.
