EWI is supporting a leading international wind energy contractor in the search for an experienced Quality Technician to join an onshore wind farm project in the Netherlands.
This is a freelance site-based role supporting the installation and commissioning phases of a utility-scale wind energy project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout construction and turbine assembly activities.
Responsibilities
Conduct quality inspections and audits during wind turbine installation activitiesPerform incoming inspections and acceptance checks of major componentsManage non-conformities and quality deviations, ensuring corrective actions are implementedMonitor and track punch list items through to closureReview and maintain quality documentation in line with project requirementsSupport contractors and site teams in meeting project quality standardsRecord and report quality findings using digital quality management systemsRequirements
Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector or QA/QC professional within the wind energy sectorExperience working on wind turbine installation or construction projectsStrong understanding of quality documentation and inspection processesExperience managing non-conformities and punch list activitiesComfortable using digital reporting and inspection toolsValid GWO certificationFull driving licence and access to a vehicleAbility to work independently within a site environmentProject Details
Location: Netherlands
Start Date: October / November 2026
Duration: Approximately 8 weeks (High likelyhood of contract extension based on performance)
Working Schedule: Up to 45 hours per week
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Rotation: None
Contract Type: Freelance / Contractor
