We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to support the planning and delivery of construction projects from early tender stages through to contract award. In this role, you will prepare accurate and commercially sound cost estimates for building and construction works, analyse drawings and specifications, and assess quantities, materials, labour, plant, subcontractor services, and other project-related costs. You will work closely with project managers, designers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure that estimates are complete, competitive, and aligned with project requirements.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documents, conducting quantity take-offs, requesting and evaluating quotations, preparing bills of quantities, and identifying potential risks, exclusions, and cost-saving opportunities. You will contribute to tender submissions, maintain pricing documentation, and support budget development and cost control during project execution. The role may also involve participating in site visits, clarification meetings, negotiations, and post-tender reviews. Accuracy, structure, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential, as you will often manage several estimates and priorities simultaneously.

We are looking for someone with relevant experience in construction estimating, quantity surveying, cost planning, or a similar commercial role. You should be confident interpreting technical drawings, construction specifications, and contractual documentation, with a sound understanding of building methods, materials, and industry practices. Strong numerical and analytical skills are required, together with proficiency in spreadsheets and estimating or cost-management software. Good communication skills in English are essential, and knowledge of an additional Scandinavian language is an advantage. You are organised, commercially aware, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative project team.
