Hydropower Opportunities - Sub-Saharan Africa
A leading international contractor has recently been awarded a major hydropower project in Sub Saharan Africa and later this year preparing to mobilise key personnel for project delivery.
We are currently seeking experienced professionals for several senior positions across the project team. These opportunities are expected to commence towards the end of 2026 and will suit candidates with ideally strong hydropower project experience across Sub-Saharan Africa
Open Positions
Project / Construction Managers
Minimum 15 years of hydropower experienceCivil Engineering background requiredProven experience delivering large-scale hydropower projects through construction phaseStrong leadership and contractor management capabilitiesExperience working on EPC projects in remote or complex environments preferredEngineering / Design Managers
Minimum 10 years of hydropower experienceCivil Engineering background requiredExperience managing multidisciplinary engineering and design coordination on hydropower projectsStrong interface management between design, construction, and client teamsPrevious experience on dams, tunnels, powerhouses, or related hydro infrastructure preferredEngineering Geologists
Minimum 10 years of hydropower experienceStrong experience in geological investigations, tunnelling, slope stability, foundations, and underground worksExperience supporting construction and design teams on major hydropower developmentsFamiliarity with African or international hydropower projects advantageousLocation
Sub-Saharan Africa
Start Date
Expected mobilisation towards the end of 2026.
