We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of construction projects from mobilisation through to completion. The successful candidate will provide strong field leadership, coordinate daily site activities, and ensure work is delivered in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements. This role will suit a practical and organised construction professional who can build effective relationships while maintaining a clear focus on project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, site personnel, and specialist trades; reviewing drawings, method statements, programmes, and work packages; monitoring progress against milestones; and identifying and resolving site issues promptly. You will lead daily coordination meetings, maintain accurate site records, support short-term planning, and communicate project updates to the Project Manager and wider delivery team. The role also involves supervising quality inspections, ensuring the correct use of materials and equipment, managing site logistics, and contributing to commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
You will promote a strong safety culture by ensuring all personnel understand and follow site procedures, risk assessments, permits, and relevant legislation. Candidates should have substantial experience in a superintendent, site management, or senior construction supervision role, with a proven record of delivering complex projects safely and on schedule. A relevant trade qualification, construction management qualification, or equivalent practical experience is required. Strong knowledge of construction methods, health and safety standards, quality control, and project documentation is essential. Excellent communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills are also expected, together with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel or work away from home may be required.
