We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support utility-scale solar construction projects across multiple locations. This is a travel-based, on-site role requiring regular deployment to active project sites, with responsibility for promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring work is completed in accordance with applicable legislation, project requirements and industry best practice. The successful candidate will work closely with project leadership, contractors, supervisors and field teams to identify hazards, control risk and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental performance.

Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing site-specific safety plans, procedures and training programmes; conducting regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments; reviewing method statements, job hazard analyses and permits; and supporting incident, near-miss and corrective-action investigations. You will monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards, maintain accurate safety records and reports, and provide practical guidance on topics including working at height, electrical safety, lifting operations, excavation, mobile plant, lockout/tagout and emergency response. The role will also involve leading toolbox talks, delivering safety briefings, coordinating emergency drills and stopping unsafe work where necessary.

Applicants should have substantial health and safety experience within construction, renewable energy, utilities or a similarly high-risk environment, with experience supporting large, multi-contractor projects strongly preferred. A recognised safety qualification, such as NEBOSH, IOSH or an equivalent professional credential, is required, together with a sound understanding of relevant occupational health and safety legislation. Strong communication, influencing and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the confidence to engage with personnel at all levels. The role involves frequent travel, extended periods on active outdoor worksites and the ability to work flexible hours according to project demands. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel regularly are also required.

We are seeking an experienced Foreman - Piping to lead piping installation, fabrication, and maintenance activities across industrial or construction projects. The successful candidate will supervise site teams, coordinate daily work plans, and ensure all activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules. You will allocate labour and equipment, monitor productivity, and provide clear direction to pipefitters, welders, riggers, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities include reviewing isometric drawings, piping layouts, work packs, and method statements; coordinating material deliveries and verifying that materials meet project requirements; inspecting fabrication and installation activities; and ensuring correct alignment, fit-up, supports, testing, and reinstatement of piping systems. You will liaise with construction supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and other trades to resolve technical or sequencing issues. The role also involves maintaining daily progress reports, recording labour and material usage, supporting quantity tracking, and identifying potential delays or site constraints.

Applicants should have substantial experience supervising piping works in industrial, commercial, energy, manufacturing, or similar environments, together with a strong understanding of piping construction methods, welding processes, pressure testing, hydrotesting, and relevant safety and quality standards. The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications is essential. A recognised trade qualification or technical certificate in pipefitting, mechanical construction, or a related discipline is preferred, along with proven experience leading site crews. You must be safety-focused, organised, and confident communicating with teams at all levels. A practical approach to problem-solving, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work to demanding deadlines are also required. Relevant site safety training and a valid driving licence may be advantageous.
