We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer specialising in low-voltage systems (LSS) and extra-low-voltage technologies to support the planning, development and delivery of complex building services and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will take technical responsibility for electrical systems from concept and detailed design through installation, commissioning and handover. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams, clients, contractors and suppliers to ensure safe, reliable and compliant solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include developing technical concepts, calculations, specifications, schematics and design documentation for low-voltage distribution, power supply, emergency power, lighting, grounding and protection systems. You will also coordinate extra-low-voltage systems such as fire detection, security, access control, communication, data, building automation and other integrated technical services. You will review designs and technical submissions, support tendering and procurement activities, monitor installation quality, and provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning. In addition, you will contribute to risk assessments, compliance reviews, documentation, technical reports and the continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes. Depending on project requirements, you may also lead smaller work packages or coordinate junior engineers and external specialists.
You hold a degree or comparable qualification in electrical engineering, building services engineering or a related discipline, combined with several years of professional experience in electrical infrastructure, low-voltage and extra-low-voltage systems. Strong knowledge of relevant standards, regulations and safety requirements is essential, as is practical experience with design software and common office applications. Experience in project coordination, site supervision and working with contractors is highly desirable. You communicate confidently in English and are comfortable collaborating across disciplines and with international stakeholders. A structured, solution-oriented approach, strong analytical skills, technical leadership and a high level of personal responsibility will enable you to succeed in this position.
