We are seeking a North Texas Wastewater Market Sector Leader to guide the growth and delivery of wastewater infrastructure services across a dynamic and expanding regional market. This senior role will lead market strategy, strengthen client relationships, identify new opportunities, and support the delivery of innovative, sustainable solutions for municipal, industrial, and regional water clients. The successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of wastewater treatment, collection systems, water reuse, resilience, and regulatory requirements, together with the ability to build trusted partnerships and develop high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a North Texas wastewater business plan; cultivating relationships with public-sector agencies, municipalities, utilities, and other strategic stakeholders; leading pursuits, proposals, interviews, and client presentations; and coordinating with technical, operational, and business development teams to secure and deliver work. You will provide market intelligence, monitor industry trends, and identify opportunities for program management, planning, design, construction support, and advisory services. The role will also involve mentoring staff, supporting recruitment and retention, promoting collaboration across disciplines, and helping ensure projects meet quality, schedule, budget, safety, and client-service expectations.
Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, or related engineering, planning, or technical discipline, along with substantial experience in the wastewater sector and a proven record of business development or market leadership. Professional Engineer registration, or the ability to obtain it, is preferred. Strong knowledge of North Texas water and wastewater issues, local agency environments, and applicable regulations will be highly valued. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and confident communicator who can balance long-term market development with hands-on engagement in pursuits and project delivery. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams, managing key accounts, and representing an organization within industry and community forums is also desirable.
