We are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to lead the delivery of complex water, wastewater and infrastructure projects from concept through to construction. This role will involve providing technical leadership, managing design development and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical, compliant and cost-effective solutions for public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing technical reports, feasibility studies, calculations, specifications, drawings and design documentation; developing water and wastewater treatment, collection, distribution and conveyance solutions; and supporting hydraulic modelling, asset planning and options assessments. You will manage project scope, programme, budgets and technical risks, while working closely with clients, contractors, regulators and internal stakeholders. The role will also involve mentoring junior engineers, undertaking design reviews, contributing to bids and proposals, and supporting site inspections, construction activities and commissioning where required.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Civil, Environmental, Water or a related engineering discipline, together with substantial experience in the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Professional registration or chartered status is preferred, along with strong knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, health and safety requirements and design practices. Experience with hydraulic modelling and engineering software, project management, contract administration and technical report writing will be highly valued. You will be a confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to manage competing priorities and build effective relationships at all levels. A proactive, collaborative approach and a commitment to quality, sustainability and continuous improvement are essential.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex engineering projects from initial concept through to completion. You will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk, and ensuring that technical and commercial objectives are achieved. This role will suit a confident project professional who can bring structure to complex programmes, communicate effectively with stakeholders and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include developing detailed project plans, defining milestones and resource requirements, monitoring progress and producing clear status reports for senior stakeholders. You will manage project risks, issues, dependencies and change control, ensuring that appropriate mitigation plans are in place. Working closely with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, quality and supply chain teams, you will coordinate technical deliverables, support design reviews and ensure that projects meet relevant standards, specifications and regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to supplier and contractor management, cost forecasting, customer communication and continuous improvement initiatives.
Applicants should have proven experience managing engineering or technical projects, ideally within a regulated, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, construction or industrial environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, project management or a related discipline is desirable, along with formal project management training or certification. You will need strong planning, problem-solving and organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage competing priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is the confidence to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience using project management tools, risk registers, scheduling software and reporting systems will be advantageous. Above all, you should be proactive, collaborative and committed to delivering safe, high-quality results on time and within budget.
