We are seeking an experienced Technical Leader to guide the delivery of water and wastewater utility projects from concept through design, construction, commissioning, and operational support. This role will provide technical direction across multidisciplinary teams, helping to develop practical, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for municipal and industrial clients. The successful candidate will contribute to business development, client relationships, technical strategy, and the continued growth of water and wastewater capabilities.

Responsibilities will include leading and reviewing studies, master plans, feasibility assessments, detailed designs, specifications, tender documentation, and construction support for treatment, pumping, storage, collection, distribution, and associated utility infrastructure. You will establish project scopes, methodologies, budgets, schedules, and quality requirements; coordinate internal and external stakeholders; and ensure designs comply with applicable legislation, standards, codes, and health and safety requirements. The role will also involve mentoring engineers and technical staff, allocating resources, managing technical risk, participating in design reviews, and providing clear recommendations to clients and project leadership. Regular site visits and collaboration with contractors, regulators, operators, and community representatives will be required.

Candidates should hold a degree in civil, environmental, chemical, mechanical, or a related engineering discipline, together with professional engineer registration or eligibility for registration in the relevant jurisdiction. Significant experience in water and wastewater utilities is essential, including demonstrated responsibility for complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.
