We are looking for a Project Engineer specialising in installations to support the delivery of a major road infrastructure project in Stockholm. In this role, you will coordinate and follow up installation works across complex construction environments, helping to ensure that technical solutions are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved plans, specifications and applicable regulations. You will work closely with construction managers, designers, contractors and other project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include planning and coordinating installation activities, reviewing technical documentation, drawings and work preparations, and monitoring progress, quality and compliance on site. You will support the management of interfaces between disciplines such as electrical systems, ventilation, fire protection, lighting, control systems and other building services. The role also involves identifying technical issues and risks, assisting with troubleshooting, following up deviations and changes, and contributing to inspections, testing, commissioning and handover. You will maintain clear records and provide regular updates on installation status, schedule, costs and outstanding actions.

To succeed in this position, you should have a degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction, installation or a related technical field. Experience from large infrastructure, tunnel, transport or complex building projects is highly desirable, as is practical knowledge of installation coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery. You are comfortable reading technical drawings and specifications, working with contractors and consultants, and using standard digital tools for documentation and project follow-up. Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, together with a structured, solution-oriented approach and a strong focus on safety and quality. You should be able to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative project team. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage.
