We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer – Medium and Low Voltage Systems (m/f/d) to lead the planning, design and delivery of electrical infrastructure for complex industrial, commercial or energy-related projects. In this role, you will take technical responsibility for medium- and low-voltage systems throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and specification through detailed engineering, installation, commissioning and handover. You will develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, protection concepts, load calculations, equipment specifications and technical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities, reviewing designs and calculations, supporting procurement and evaluating technical offers from suppliers and contractors. You will collaborate closely with project managers, civil and mechanical engineers, automation specialists, site teams and customers to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective solutions. During construction and commissioning, you will provide technical guidance, resolve design and installation issues, inspect completed work and support testing, energisation and performance verification. You may also contribute to standardisation, continuous improvement, risk assessments and the development of internal engineering procedures.
You hold a degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering or a comparable discipline and have several years of professional experience in medium- and low-voltage systems, electrical distribution or related infrastructure projects. You possess sound knowledge of relevant electrical standards, protection and earthing concepts, switchgear, transformers, cabling, power quality and safety requirements. Experience with engineering software, electrical CAD systems and project documentation tools is desirable. Strong analytical and organisational skills, a structured approach and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential. You are comfortable working independently while contributing positively to international, multidisciplinary teams. Willingness to travel to project sites and professional fluency in English are required; knowledge of an additional European language is an advantage.
