We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of construction projects from pre-start planning through to completion and handover. This role will involve coordinating site activities, managing project teams and subcontractors, and ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. The successful candidate will provide strong leadership on site while maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and client service.

Key responsibilities will include developing and monitoring construction programmes, coordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractors, and reviewing project progress against agreed milestones. You will oversee daily site operations, lead regular meetings, identify and resolve construction issues, and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation. The role will also involve managing costs, supporting procurement, reviewing drawings and specifications, and working closely with consultants, suppliers and stakeholders to ensure projects meet contractual and technical requirements. A strong focus on health, safety, environmental and quality standards will be essential, including conducting inspections, implementing corrective actions and promoting a positive safety culture across the project team.

Applicants should have proven experience in a Construction Manager or senior site management role, with a strong understanding of construction methods, regulations, programme management and commercial controls. Relevant industry qualifications are desirable, together with appropriate health and safety certifications. You will need excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage competing priorities and make effective decisions in a fast-paced environment. Strong leadership, attention to detail and a collaborative approach are essential.
