We are seeking a Senior Civil Structural Engineer to lead the delivery of complex civil and structural engineering projects across the full project lifecycle. This role offers the opportunity to provide technical leadership, develop innovative and practical design solutions, and contribute to projects involving industrial, infrastructure, commercial, or other technically demanding environments. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and technical specialists to ensure that designs are safe, compliant, constructible, and delivered to a high standard.

Responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing calculations, specifications, drawings, reports, and technical documentation; developing and checking structural and civil designs in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements; coordinating design activities with architectural, mechanical, electrical, geotechnical, and construction teams; and providing technical guidance to engineers and designers. You will also support project planning, estimating, risk management, procurement, construction, commissioning, and site activities. The role may involve conducting condition assessments, resolving technical issues, reviewing contractor submissions, participating in design reviews, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project.

Applicants should hold a degree in civil or structural engineering and have substantial professional experience in the design and delivery of complex projects. Professional registration or eligibility for registration is highly desirable, along with strong knowledge of relevant design codes, engineering standards, health and safety requirements, and quality assurance processes. Experience with structural analysis, design software, technical reporting, and multidisciplinary project coordination is expected. Strong problem-solving, communication, organisational, and leadership skills are essential, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
