We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex technology programmes from initiation through to completion. You will work across multidisciplinary teams, coordinating technical, operational and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness and the ability to translate strategic objectives into clear, achievable delivery plans.

Key responsibilities will include defining project scope, objectives, milestones, dependencies and resource requirements; establishing effective governance, reporting and control processes; and managing risks, issues, assumptions and change throughout the project lifecycle. You will facilitate planning sessions, steering groups and project reviews, provide accurate progress updates to senior stakeholders, and ensure decisions are documented and followed through. You will also oversee supplier and partner relationships where required, monitor budgets and forecasts, and promote consistent project management standards across the portfolio.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience managing complex technical projects, ideally within a large-scale or highly regulated environment. You will be confident working with software, infrastructure, cloud, data or enterprise technology initiatives and have a proven record of delivering measurable outcomes through cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, risk management and financial control is essential; relevant professional qualifications are desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills are required, along with the ability to work effectively with both technical specialists and senior decision-makers. A pragmatic, organised and collaborative approach, combined with strong attention to detail and the confidence to challenge constructively, will be key to succeeding in this role.
