We are seeking a Project Engineer specialising in Electrical Engineering, Automation and Instrumentation to support industrial projects in Piteå. In this role, you will contribute to the planning, design and implementation of electrical, automation and instrumentation solutions across the full project lifecycle. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, suppliers and production teams to ensure that technical solutions are safe, reliable, cost-effective and delivered according to schedule.

Your responsibilities will include preparing technical specifications, design documentation, calculations, cable and equipment schedules, control system documentation and procurement materials. You will participate in design reviews, risk assessments, inspections, commissioning and troubleshooting activities. The role also involves coordinating interfaces between electrical systems, instrumentation, automation platforms and other engineering disciplines, as well as following up on suppliers and ensuring that work complies with applicable standards, regulations and quality requirements. You will help identify technical risks, propose improvements and contribute to the continuous development of project processes and plant performance.

We are looking for someone with a degree or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, automation, instrumentation or a related technical field. Experience from industrial projects, process industries, manufacturing or energy-related environments is highly valued. You should have practical knowledge of electrical installations, control systems, instrumentation and relevant technical standards, together with the ability to interpret drawings and technical documentation. Experience with PLC, DCS, SCADA or industrial communication systems is an advantage. As the role involves collaboration with both local and international stakeholders, strong communication skills in English are required; knowledge of Swedish is beneficial. You are structured, solution-oriented and comfortable taking responsibility while managing several tasks in parallel.
