Working closely with engineering, procurement, project management and commercial colleagues, you will interpret customer requirements, drawings, specifications and contractual information to develop detailed cost proposals. You will assess materials, labour, subcontract, equipment, installation and project management costs, ensuring that all estimates are supported by clear assumptions, exclusions and relevant technical information.

Your responsibilities will include reviewing enquiries and tender documentation, identifying risks and opportunities, obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations, and producing professional bid submissions within agreed deadlines. You will lead estimating activities for multiple projects, challenge technical and commercial inputs where necessary, and ensure proposals comply with applicable standards, specifications and customer requirements. You will also maintain estimating records, contribute to cost databases and benchmarking, support post-tender negotiations, and provide estimating input during handover to the delivery team. The role will involve presenting estimates to internal stakeholders and providing clear explanations of pricing, programme and technical considerations.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in a senior estimating role within a technical, engineering, manufacturing, construction or project-based environment. You will be confident interpreting technical documentation and building estimates from first principles, with strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail. Experience of working with estimating, enterprise resource planning or cost-management systems would be advantageous, as would knowledge of relevant industry standards and procurement processes. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills are essential, together with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure. You should be commercially astute, methodical and confident collaborating with teams at all levels, while maintaining the accuracy, integrity and confidentiality of sensitive tender information.

We are seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. This role will suit an engineer with experience in civil, water, wastewater, or utilities projects who can coordinate technical design, construction activities, and project stakeholders while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and environmental performance.

Key responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing technical documentation, specifications, drawings, schedules, and cost estimates; coordinating designers, contractors, suppliers, and site teams; monitoring project progress, budgets, risks, and programme performance; and supporting procurement, tender evaluation, and contract administration. You will attend site meetings, conduct inspections, resolve technical issues, and ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved designs, relevant standards, planning conditions, and regulatory requirements. The role will also involve maintaining accurate project records, preparing progress reports, contributing to commissioning and handover activities, and supporting continuous improvement across project delivery processes.

Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related discipline, with relevant experience delivering water or wastewater projects. Knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, pipelines, pumping stations, drainage, or related infrastructure is desirable. You will need strong project coordination and problem-solving skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, together with confidence working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with project management, design, estimating, scheduling, or contract management software would be advantageous. A commitment to safe working practices and a valid driving licence may also be required.

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the successful delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning through to completion. Working alongside experienced Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will help coordinate activities, monitor progress and contribute to the delivery of projects safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction or engineering professional to develop their project management expertise within a technically challenging environment.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with project planning, programming, cost control, procurement and resource coordination. You will help prepare project documentation, review designs and specifications, track risks and issues, and maintain accurate records of progress, costs and performance. The role will involve liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, supporting meetings and reporting, and helping to ensure that works comply with contractual, regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements. You may also support the management of change, variations, payment applications, quality inspections and commissioning activities.

Applicants should have experience in a project coordination, site management or assistant project management role within the water, wastewater, utilities, civil engineering or construction sectors. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline is desirable. You will need strong organisational and communication skills, commercial awareness, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities. Familiarity with project management procedures, construction contracts, risk management and industry health and safety standards would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be proactive, collaborative and keen to build positive working relationships while contributing to the delivery of complex infrastructure projects. A valid driving licence and willingness to travel to project locations may be required.
