Main tasks and responsibilitiesWithin Site Management Team, support the safe execution of the project, in accordance with applicable:local HSE laws and regulationsInternal processesClient / Project specific rules (incl. Project HSE plan, Employer's requirements, )Initiate & support the HSE continuous improvement system on siteAssist in the preparation, development and monitoring of the Project HSE plan, and of the related documentation (e.g. Permit to Work, risk assessment and method statements, emergency response plan, site induction)Review the documentation provided by internal teams and contractors (e.g. HSE plans, training certificates, equipment inspection certificates, ) and check compliance with the applicable requirements ("release to work" stage)Site induction:Prepare a welcome package and site inductionsHold site induction sessions for internal teams and contractors assigned to the project siteParticipate actively in the dailysiteorganization:Support the Site Manager(s) for the daily morning briefing, give the daily toolbox talkParticipate in the daily progress and coordination meetings:Highlight the HSE topics and deviations raised or observed during the working day, propose and discuss improvement actionsProvide advice regarding the safe execution of the upcoming activitiesSupport the implementation of the project specific Permit to Work systemEmergency response: Ensure that the establishment and maintenance of close liaison with relevant emergency services/enforcement agencies, etc; takes placeHSE awareness:Implement "Safety Critical Friend" concept in the project teamPerform site visits (Safety Walks & Talks)Promote a proactive approach towards QHSE -EPR : empower, praise and request and engage free discussion about HSE with the on field teamsConduct or support site inspections / audits (e.g. joint visit with Project / Site management, joint visit with Client HSE representative)HSE incidents and observations:Ensure that HSE incidents are duly reported and continuously promote the reporting of HSE observationsCollect HSE observationsSupport the Project Manager and the Site Manager for:the reporting and investigation of HSE events and observationsthe monitoring of the corrective and preventive actionsReport on a weekly and / or monthly basis (depending on project specific requirements)HSE metrics, including:HSE events and observations (type, number, list, status)Hours worked on siteTechnical skillsCountry-specificHSE laws and regulations, including (non comprehensive list):Health and Safety at Work: site management and coordination, contractor management, works at height, lifting / rigging / handling, electrical hazards, mechanical hazards, Machinery Directive / Machinery compliance,Environment: wind energy project specific requirements, works near utilities and networks (e.g. underground or overhead facilities), waste managementISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001Methods: risk analysis / assessment, incident investigationMicrosoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPointLanguagesEnglish: fluentThe resources assigned to site may come from various countries. English is the common language onMost of the documentation or IT tools used on site will be available in English (e.g. reporting tools).Ability to prepare presentations (e.g. toolbox talks), as well as extensive reports (e.g. participation in incident investigation reports).Behavioural skillsTeam workingOrganization and coordinationCommunicationBehavioural safetyProactive, hands-onAbility to work in a multicultural environment (the resources assigned to a project site may come from various countries)Be willing to contribute actively in HSE continuous improvement (e.g. create or improve documents or processes).
