We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer I to support the delivery of utility-scale and commercial solar projects from pre-construction through completion. Working with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, vendors, and engineering consultants, you will help coordinate technical, commercial, and construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, and budgets. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career engineer to build practical experience in renewable energy construction and develop into a project leadership role.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, specifications, submittals, requests for information, and material documentation; assisting with project schedules, progress tracking, cost reporting, and change management; coordinating engineering deliverables and resolving field issues with relevant stakeholders; supporting procurement, equipment deliveries, inspections, testing, and commissioning activities; maintaining accurate project records and preparing status reports; and participating in site meetings, safety reviews, quality inspections, and construction planning. You will also help monitor subcontractor performance, verify work against contract requirements, support closeout documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Regular travel to project sites may be required.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, construction engineering, or a related discipline, along with relevant internship, co-op, or early professional experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, or renewable energy. Knowledge of construction methods, project controls, engineering documentation, and health and safety practices is preferred. The successful candidate will be organised, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with scheduling, document control, estimating, or construction management software are advantageous. A valid driver’s licence and the ability to travel to active jobsites may be required. Experience with solar photovoltaic systems, electrical distribution, civil site work, or commissioning is helpful but not essential.

We are seeking Energy Storage Electrical Commissioning Engineers at Levels I and II to support the installation, testing, and operational readiness of utility-scale battery energy storage systems. Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will help ensure that electrical equipment, controls, protection systems, and site interfaces are installed correctly, tested safely, and commissioned in accordance with approved designs, manufacturer requirements, and applicable standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing electrical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and commissioning plans; supporting inspections and pre-functional checks; performing electrical testing on battery systems, inverters, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, metering, communications, and auxiliary systems; and documenting results accurately. You will assist with energisation activities, functional and performance testing, control-system verification, troubleshooting, punch-list resolution, and handover to operations. The role requires regular coordination with construction teams, controls engineers, equipment suppliers, subcontractors, and client representatives. You will also contribute to job hazard analyses, method statements, daily reports, commissioning records, redline documentation, and lessons-learned activities while maintaining a strong focus on electrical safety, permit-to-work procedures, and site environmental requirements.

Level I candidates should have foundational knowledge of electrical systems, testing practices, industrial equipment, and safe work procedures, together with a relevant technical qualification or equivalent practical experience. The ability to read electrical drawings, use test equipment, follow detailed procedures, and work effectively at active construction sites is essential. Level II candidates should bring progressively greater experience commissioning energy storage or other high-voltage, renewable energy, utility, or industrial systems, with the ability to lead testing activities, interpret complex faults, coordinate field teams, and communicate effectively with project stakeholders. Experience with battery management systems, energy management systems, SCADA, protection and control schemes, medium-voltage equipment, or grid-interconnection testing is desirable. Travel to project sites, extended field assignments, and flexible working hours may be required.
