Rail Track Specialist (High-Speed Rail) - Lithuania
The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is supporting a leading engineering firm with their need for a Track Expert for a High-speed Passenger & Freight Rail project in Lithuania.
Opportunity:
This is a long term opportunity to work on the Rail Baltica project which is a passenger & fright line connecting Latvia, Lithuania & Estonia into to European Rail network.
Responsibilities:
Working as part of an International Team on behalf of the end client this Track specialist shall largely be responsible for carrying out Design Review and Construction Supervision phase of this New High Speed Rail project.
Key responsibilities shall include Review Designs, ensure standards and requirements are met, make recommendations, Supervising the Construction, resolving Technical issues, working & liaising with the design team. The successful individual shall have to liaise with various disciplines including other Civil and Systems components to ensure a successful outcome.
It will be constructed by a major International contractor who's contract has recently been awarded for the Track & Civils installation.
Key requirements for the role:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or related subject)10+ years of High Speed Rail project experienceExperience of Similar scale projects during construction phase.Knowledge of Track design, alignment and construction methods.Willingness to be largely site basedRegional Experience would be beneficial.

Salary Package:
The salary on offer for this position is around €7,000 to €9,000 plus allowances.
