We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager in Lithonia, GA, to support the successful planning, coordination, and delivery of projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for an organised and proactive professional who can manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with clients and project teams, and help ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within scope, and in line with quality expectations.

Key responsibilities include assisting with project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and status reports; coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders; reviewing plans, specifications, submittals, and change requests; and tracking project documentation, contracts, invoices, purchase orders, and closeout materials. You will attend project and coordination meetings, record action items, follow up on outstanding issues, and help identify and resolve risks before they affect delivery. The successful candidate will also support site visits, monitor progress against milestones, contribute to quality-control activities, and promote compliance with applicable safety requirements, codes, and procedures.

Applicants should have experience supporting construction, engineering, facilities, or other project-based work, with a sound understanding of project coordination, scheduling, cost control, and documentation. A degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline is preferred. Strong organisational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn project management software. You should be comfortable working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, able to interpret technical information, and confident communicating with people at all levels. The ability to travel to local project sites and maintain a valid driving licence may be required.
