We are seeking an experienced Module Piping Superintendent to lead the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of piping fabrication, assembly and installation activities within a major industrial or energy project. The successful candidate will provide field leadership across modular construction work fronts, ensuring activities are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, inspection and test plans, schedules and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, foremen, trades and support personnel; coordinating daily work planning and resource allocation; monitoring productivity, progress and workmanship; and resolving technical or construction issues in collaboration with engineering, planning, quality and commissioning teams. You will oversee piping spool installation, fit-up, welding, supports, pressure testing, reinstatement and associated completion activities. The role will also involve reviewing isometric drawings and work packs, confirming material availability, managing interfaces with structural, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines, and maintaining accurate records of progress, inspections, permits and punch-list closeout. A strong focus on hazard identification, toolbox talks, permit compliance and compliance with site procedures is essential.
Applicants should have substantial experience supervising piping construction on modular, petrochemical, oil and gas, power, marine or similarly complex industrial projects. A recognised technical qualification or trade background in piping, mechanical engineering or a related discipline is preferred, together with demonstrated knowledge of piping fabrication, welding processes, pressure testing, quality control and construction sequencing. You should be confident interpreting engineering documentation, leading diverse teams and coordinating multiple priorities in a demanding site environment. Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills are required, along with a commitment to safe working practices and continuous improvement. Relevant site safety training, supervisory certification and experience working with international standards and multicultural teams will be advantageous.
