We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation through to completion. You will be responsible for establishing clear objectives, developing robust project plans and ensuring that delivery remains aligned with strategic priorities, agreed timescales, quality standards and budget. This role will involve working across multiple teams and stakeholder groups, providing direction, resolving issues and maintaining momentum throughout the project lifecycle.

Your responsibilities will include defining scope, milestones, resources, dependencies and success measures; managing risks, assumptions, issues and change control; and producing accurate reporting for senior stakeholders. You will establish effective governance arrangements, chair project meetings and ensure that decisions, actions and outcomes are clearly documented. You will also monitor budgets and resource requirements, oversee procurement or supplier activity where appropriate, and ensure that projects comply with relevant policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and best practice. Building strong relationships will be essential, particularly when managing competing priorities and communicating complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Applicants should have substantial experience managing significant, multi-disciplinary projects, ideally within a complex or changing environment. You will be confident using recognised project management methodologies and tools, with a strong understanding of planning, financial control, risk management and benefits realisation. Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and make sound decisions under pressure. A relevant professional qualification, such as PRINCE2, APM or equivalent experience, would be advantageous. Above all, you will be organised, collaborative and delivery-focused, with the resilience and leadership skills required to achieve successful outcomes.
