We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee construction activities on projects in the Haskell, Texas area. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with approved plans and specifications. The successful candidate will serve as the primary field representative, maintaining clear communication with project management, owners, inspectors, trade partners, and site personnel throughout the construction process.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining short-term and master schedules; coordinating site logistics, manpower, materials, equipment, and deliveries; conducting regular jobsite meetings and inspections; reviewing drawings, specifications, and submittals; identifying and resolving field conflicts; and monitoring progress against budget and schedule objectives. You will enforce site safety policies, quality-control procedures, and applicable regulations, while maintaining accurate daily reports, documentation, and project records. The Superintendent will also help manage change orders, support closeout activities, and ensure deficiencies are addressed promptly and professionally.
Qualified candidates should have several years of commercial, industrial, civil, or related construction supervision experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and coordinate multiple trades. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling practices, safety requirements, and quality standards is essential. The role requires excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with the ability to read and interpret plans and technical documents. Proficiency with common construction management and scheduling software is preferred. Candidates must be willing to work outdoors and adapt to changing site conditions, possess a valid driver’s license, and be available for travel or extended project assignments as required.
