We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion. This role will involve managing projects across water treatment, wastewater treatment, pumping stations, pipelines, networks and associated civil, mechanical, electrical and process works. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required technical and quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining project programmes, budgets, procurement strategies, risk registers and delivery plans. You will coordinate design teams, contractors, consultants, suppliers and client representatives, ensuring effective communication and timely resolution of issues. The role will also involve reviewing technical documentation, monitoring progress, managing change control, overseeing health and safety requirements, and ensuring compliance with environmental, regulatory and contractual obligations. You will lead project meetings, prepare reports for stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of project delivery processes.

Applicants should have proven experience managing water or wastewater projects, ideally within a consulting, contracting, utilities or infrastructure environment. A relevant qualification in civil engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline is preferred, together with strong knowledge of construction contracts, commercial controls, risk management and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, organisation, negotiation and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and build effective relationships at all levels. Professional accreditation or formal project management certification would be advantageous. A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a strong commitment to safety, quality and customer outcomes are required.

We are seeking an experienced Foreman, Water to lead field crews delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The role will involve coordinating daily construction activities, allocating labour and equipment, interpreting drawings and specifications, and ensuring work is completed in accordance with approved plans, project schedules and relevant standards. You will supervise activities such as watermain installation, service connections, repairs, excavation, shoring, backfilling, testing and reinstatement.

As the key point of contact on site, you will provide clear direction to crew members, subcontractors and project stakeholders while monitoring productivity, workmanship and progress. Responsibilities will include conducting pre-start meetings and toolbox talks, identifying and managing hazards, enforcing safe work practices, coordinating traffic control and permits, and responding promptly to site issues. You will also maintain accurate daily records, timesheets, material usage, inspection results and equipment reports, escalating variations, delays or technical concerns to the appropriate project representative.

The successful candidate will have proven experience supervising crews on civil, water or wastewater construction projects, with a strong understanding of underground utilities, construction methods, safety requirements and quality controls. The ability to read plans, use levels or other site-measurement equipment, and work confidently with digital reporting systems is desirable. You will be a practical and organised leader who communicates effectively, remains calm under pressure and promotes a cooperative, accountable team environment. A relevant trade, civil construction or water industry qualification, together with required construction safety certifications and a current driver’s licence, will be advantageous. The role may require outdoor work in varying conditions, early starts and occasional overtime to meet project demands.
