Civil Inspector Greece
The Civil Inspector is responsible for overseeing the whole construction process from the project preparation phase, among execution, until successful handover to customer.
This role is based in Greece, candidate must be Greek with the local certificates
Role operates on legal working hours based on the Greek government with the duration of 16 months.
Key accountabilities
*Work closely with the Project Manager, other personnel during the project planning and preparation phase, site execution, WTG maintenance until successful handover to customer.
*Supervising all installation works and verifying them to prepare the project to handover to customer and gaining permit of use.
*Overseeing project preparation and execution by subcontractors, to ensure they fulfill local requirements.
*Provide support and guidance in fulfilling Nordex's contractual obligations towards the customer as well as local authorities, if applicable.
*Manage the interface with residents and authorities, etc.
Competency
*Previous experience in the field of civil engineering, the wind energy sector in Greece
Education and qualification
*Bachelor or master's in civil engineering
*Good computer skills are required, especially MS Office and MS Project.
*Fluent in Greek and English.
*Excellent technical qualification.
*Driving license.
*GWO (first aid, working at height, fire awareness, manual handling).

*Excellent communication skills.
*Capable of working independently, however, with the support from and in permanent cooperation with the other members of the Project Management Department.
*Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
*Ability to deal with several issues concurrently.

Quality inspector for electrical works
Role Summary
Duties include organizing and following the punch list and commissioning teams with Quality control activities ensuring that all Quality check lists are filled during operations.
Perform regular inspections of the WTG, review and ensure Quality documents are properly recorded.
Analyze, identify solutions and also record cost of poor Quality WTG components with a follow up report once completed to a high standard set from both the client.
Handle all necessary quality control on behalf of the owner
Provide project management and contracts´administration services such as check with the contractors the planning, the progress, change orders, reporting etc.
Essential Responsibilities
Quality Inspector Duties;
Responsible to collate and review all quality documents offshoreConduct trilateral inspections with client and principle contactorHandover inspections of all main turbine components including Transition piecesConduct installation phase final walk down and inspections according to ITPRecord, review and close non-conformance issues, record punch list items Liaise with personnel from onshore and other vessels in coordinating works
Quality Inspector may also be require to carry out Installation Actives;
Adheres to and/or implements Safety Procedures/protocols issued to the site that affect their scope of responsibilities in accordance.Participates in LOTO process as required/directedAdheres to Quality processesResponsible for reporting issues which affect safety and schedule Ensures follow-up corrective actions are implemented on all issues in accordance with communicated directive.Ensure contents of Job Site Books are complete and 100% accurateProvide information for E-DSR where required as defined by communication GuidelineResponsible for maintaining assigned vehicle in a responsible mannerDepending on contract requirements the following additional Electrical-Mechanical responsibilities may apply to this position (TA)Execution of assigned Retrofits per the RFR process.The Installation TA is responsible for all her/his activity and assigned tooling on siteManage time and assigned resources responsibly to ensure successful completion of the site goals and objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
The successful candidate will be fluent in English and Greek with effective written and oral communication skills, possess strong presentation and negotiation skills and be able to manage multiple complex issues concurrently.
The ideal candidate will be flexible with a can-do attitude and willing and able to work with several high paced individuals. Attention to detail and to comply with corporate compliance requirements is necessary.
