We are seeking an experienced Restoration Water Mitigation Superintendent to lead the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of water damage restoration projects. This role is responsible for supervising field teams, coordinating daily operations, and ensuring that work is completed in accordance with approved scopes, industry standards, health and safety requirements, and customer expectations. The successful candidate will be confident managing multiple active projects, making sound decisions under pressure, and maintaining clear communication with customers, technicians, subcontractors, adjusters, and project stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include conducting site assessments, reviewing work orders and project scopes, developing job plans, and assigning resources, equipment, and personnel. You will oversee water extraction, drying, demolition, cleaning, and related mitigation activities while monitoring progress, documentation, productivity, and workmanship. The role also involves inspecting completed work, identifying additional requirements, escalating issues promptly, and supporting accurate estimates, reports, photographs, moisture records, and job files. You will coach and develop technicians, enforce safe working practices, maintain equipment readiness, and help ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
Applicants should have proven supervisory experience in water mitigation, disaster restoration, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field, together with strong knowledge of structural drying, moisture monitoring, containment, and restoration procedures. Industry certifications in water restoration, such as IICRC credentials, are highly desirable. A valid driving licence, the ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends when required, and the physical capacity to work in challenging environments are essential. Strong organisational, customer service, problem-solving, and leadership skills are required, along with the ability to use job management software and maintain accurate records. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who takes pride in delivering dependable restoration services and supporting a high-performing team.
