We are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to support the planning, design, delivery and improvement of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role will contribute to projects across treatment, pumping, pipelines, storage, drainage and network systems, working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient and sustainable solutions. You will be involved in projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning.
Key responsibilities will include preparing technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and schedules; developing hydraulic models and assessing system performance; undertaking investigations, site inspections and condition assessments; and contributing to optioneering, cost estimates, risk assessments and programme planning. You will review technical information, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, respond to design queries and provide engineering support during construction. The role may also involve supporting regulatory approvals, client meetings, tender documentation and the development of innovative approaches to improve resilience, efficiency and environmental performance.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, environmental, water or wastewater engineering, with relevant experience in the design or delivery of water or wastewater infrastructure. Knowledge of hydraulic principles, treatment processes, pipelines, pumping systems and applicable industry standards is essential. Experience with hydraulic modelling, engineering design software, CAD, BIM or project management tools would be advantageous. You should be able to communicate technical information clearly, produce high-quality documentation and work effectively with colleagues, contractors, clients and regulators. A proactive approach, strong analytical skills and attention to detail are important, together with a commitment to health and safety, sustainability and professional development. The position offers the opportunity to work on technically challenging projects while building expertise within a collaborative engineering environment.

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate, competitive, and commercially sound cost estimates for a range of projects. Working closely with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams, you will assess project requirements, interpret drawings and specifications, and develop detailed pricing submissions that support successful business decisions and project delivery.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing tender documents, scope of works, technical drawings, and schedules; preparing take-offs and bills of quantities; obtaining and evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations; and identifying labour, material, plant, and associated project costs. You will maintain clear records of assumptions, exclusions, risks, and clarifications, ensuring estimates are transparent, well supported, and submitted within agreed deadlines. The role will also involve contributing to value engineering, reviewing variations and change requests, supporting budget development, and liaising with project teams to compare estimated and actual costs.
Applicants should have proven experience in an estimating, quantity surveying, or commercial role within a relevant construction, engineering, manufacturing, or related environment. Strong numerical and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret technical information and produce accurate cost calculations. You should be confident using estimating software, spreadsheets, and standard office applications, with excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to managing multiple priorities. Effective communication and negotiation skills are required, as is the ability to build positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. A relevant technical or commercial qualification is desirable, although equivalent practical experience will be considered. This is an opportunity to join a collaborative team where your commercial judgement, organisation, and ability to deliver reliable estimates will make a direct contribution to project success.
