We are seeking a Senior QA/QC Engineer – CSA (m/f/d) to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across civil, structural and architectural works. In this role, you will ensure that construction activities, materials and completed installations comply with approved designs, specifications, applicable standards and project requirements. You will work closely with engineering, construction, commissioning, subcontractor and client teams to promote a consistent quality culture and support the successful delivery of complex projects.

Your responsibilities will include preparing and implementing project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans, method statements and quality procedures. You will review technical documentation, drawings and material submittals, coordinate inspections and testing, and monitor workmanship and construction progress on site. You will identify non-conformities, manage corrective and preventive actions, verify close-out documentation and ensure that inspection records, test certificates, as-built information and handover dossiers are complete and properly maintained. You will also participate in audits, quality meetings and lessons-learned activities, while providing guidance and mentoring to engineers, inspectors and subcontractor teams.

The ideal candidate has a degree or recognised qualification in civil engineering, structural engineering, architecture, construction management or a related discipline, together with significant QA/QC experience in major construction or engineering projects. Practical knowledge of CSA works, inspection processes, quality management systems and relevant international standards is essential. Experience with technical documentation, root-cause analysis, reporting and subcontractor quality management will be highly valued. You should be confident interpreting drawings and specifications, communicating with stakeholders at all levels and making sound decisions in a demanding site environment. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach are required. Professional fluency in English is essential; additional languages and certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, CSWIP or equivalent are advantageous.

During project execution, you will monitor subcontractor performance, manage contractual interfaces, support the resolution of claims and variations, and identify opportunities to mitigate risks, reduce costs and improve delivery.

You have several years of experience in subcontracting, procurement, commercial management or project execution within construction, infrastructure, industrial or comparable environments, preferably with a focus on CSA packages. A degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, construction management, business, quantity surveying or a related discipline is desirable. You bring strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, cost control and project risk management, together with the ability to interpret technical documentation and commercial terms. Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills are essential, as is a structured, proactive and solution-oriented approach. Professional proficiency in English is required; knowledge of an additional language and willingness to travel or work across project locations would be advantageous.
