We are seeking an experienced and visionary Superintendent to provide leadership across the Southeast region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving high standards, consistent performance, and continuous improvement across assigned operations, while ensuring that all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with applicable policies, regulations, and service expectations. This role requires a visible and engaged leader who can build strong relationships with employees, stakeholders, partners, and local communities.

Key responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple sites or departments; setting objectives and monitoring performance against agreed targets; developing and managing budgets, resources, and workforce plans; and ensuring effective implementation of strategic initiatives. You will lead, coach, and develop managers and teams, promote accountability, and support a positive culture focused on safety, inclusion, quality, and customer service. The Superintendent will also identify operational risks, implement appropriate controls, investigate issues, and provide clear reports, recommendations, and progress updates to senior leadership. Regular travel throughout the Southeast region may be required.

Applicants should have substantial leadership experience in a complex operational, public service, industrial, infrastructure, or similarly regulated environment, together with a strong record of managing teams and delivering measurable results. A relevant degree, professional qualification, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. You will need excellent communication, decision-making, organisation, and stakeholder-management skills, as well as the ability to analyse information, manage competing priorities, and respond calmly to changing circumstances. A commitment to ethical leadership, employee development, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement is essential. The successful candidate must be willing to work flexibly and meet any applicable background, licensing, travel, or professional requirements.
