We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion. The role will involve managing projects across water treatment, wastewater treatment, pipelines, pumping stations, storage facilities, and associated civil, mechanical, and electrical works. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality and technical standards.
Key responsibilities will include defining project scope, programmes, budgets, and resource requirements; coordinating design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover activities; and managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, regulators, and other stakeholders. You will monitor progress, costs, risks, quality, and performance, taking prompt corrective action where required. The role will also involve reviewing technical documentation, managing change control and commercial matters, maintaining accurate project records, and providing clear progress reports to senior management and project stakeholders. A strong focus on health, safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, and quality assurance will be essential throughout the project lifecycle.
Applicants should have proven experience managing water or wastewater infrastructure projects, ideally within a contractor, consultancy, utility, or engineering environment. A degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering, environmental engineering, construction management, or a related discipline is preferred, together with relevant professional accreditation or project management certification. You will need strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, risk management, and applicable industry standards. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Experience with industry-standard project controls and reporting systems will be advantageous. We are seeking an experienced Tunneling Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of complex underground construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The role will involve managing project scope, programme, budget, quality, safety, and environmental performance while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. You will provide clear direction across all project phases and ensure that tunneling works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contractual and technical requirements.
Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining detailed project plans, managing procurement and subcontractor activities, monitoring progress, controlling costs, and identifying and mitigating commercial, technical, and operational risks. You will oversee construction methodologies, temporary works, ground conditions, tunnel boring or conventional excavation activities, ventilation, dewatering, lining, support systems, and associated infrastructure. The position will also require regular review of design information, method statements, inspection and test plans, change control, claims, and project reporting. You will lead progress meetings, resolve interface issues, support technical decision-making, and ensure that accurate records and documentation are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Applicants should have significant experience managing tunneling or major underground infrastructure projects, ideally gained in a senior site or project management capacity.
