We are seeking a Water / Wastewater Design Engineer to support the planning, design and delivery of infrastructure projects across water supply, wastewater collection, treatment and related civil engineering works. This role will involve working on projects from feasibility and concept development through to detailed design, construction support and completion, while ensuring solutions are safe, practical, sustainable and compliant with relevant standards and regulations.
Key responsibilities will include preparing engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings and schedules; developing hydraulic models and design solutions for pipelines, pumping stations, treatment facilities, storage systems and associated infrastructure; reviewing surveys, site information and existing asset data; and coordinating designs with multidisciplinary project teams, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders. You will contribute to site investigations, inspections, risk assessments, design reviews and construction support activities, helping to resolve technical issues and maintain project progress. The role may also involve assisting with tenders, fee estimates, project programmes and mentoring junior engineers or technicians.
Applicants should have a degree or equivalent qualification in civil, environmental, water engineering or a related discipline, together with relevant experience in water and/or wastewater design. You will need sound knowledge of hydraulic principles, engineering standards, design software and industry practices, as well as the ability to interpret technical information and produce accurate, high-quality deliverables. Experience with hydraulic modelling packages, CAD and other engineering tools is desirable. Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage priorities, work collaboratively and engage confidently with clients and project stakeholders. Professional registration or progress towards professional accreditation would be advantageous.

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager – Land Development to lead the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from initial concept through to construction completion. The role will involve managing multiple land development projects, coordinating technical teams and consultants, and ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently, on time and within budget. Projects may include residential, commercial, industrial and mixed-use developments, with responsibility for roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, stormwater management and associated infrastructure.
Key responsibilities will include preparing project scopes, budgets, programmes and fee proposals; managing client relationships and project expectations; reviewing engineering designs, technical reports, specifications and construction documentation; and coordinating approvals with local authorities, service providers and other stakeholders. You will oversee project risks, resources, procurement and quality requirements, while providing technical guidance to engineers and supporting staff. The successful candidate will also monitor construction progress, respond to technical queries, assess variations and help resolve design or delivery issues to achieve practical, compliant outcomes.
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering and have substantial experience delivering land development projects in a consultancy, contractor or development environment. Professional registration or eligibility for registration is desirable, along with strong knowledge of relevant civil design standards, planning requirements, authority processes and construction practices. Proficiency with industry software such as Civil 3D, 12d, AutoCAD, hydraulic modelling or project management systems will be advantageous. Strong communication, commercial awareness, organisational skills and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams are essential. You will be expected to build trusted relationships, manage competing priorities and demonstrate sound judgement in a fast-paced project environment.
