We are seeking a Senior Project Developer to lead the origination, development and advancement of complex projects across the eastern region. This role is suited to an experienced professional with a strong understanding of project development, commercial assessment, stakeholder engagement and the regulatory environment. You will identify and evaluate new opportunities, build development strategies and guide projects from early-stage concept through to investment approval, permitting, construction readiness or handover.

Key responsibilities include sourcing and assessing potential sites and opportunities; managing feasibility studies, technical investigations and financial evaluations; coordinating planning, environmental, legal and engineering workstreams; and preparing clear business cases, risk assessments and investment papers. You will lead negotiations with landowners, consultants, authorities, commercial partners and other stakeholders, while maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle. The role will also involve monitoring budgets, schedules, risks and development milestones, ensuring that project information is accurate, well documented and aligned with applicable standards and approvals.

You will bring substantial experience in project development, infrastructure, energy, property or a related field, together with a proven record of progressing projects in a complex regulatory and commercial environment. Strong commercial judgement, analytical capability and negotiation skills are essential, as is the ability to manage multiple priorities and influence diverse stakeholders. You should be confident working independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external teams, and be comfortable presenting recommendations to senior decision-makers. A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, planning, environmental science, business, finance or a comparable discipline is desirable. Regional travel will be required, and a current driver’s licence is preferred.
